About
About Sammi, the AI girlfriend app
Sammi is an AI girlfriend app for Android made by Joy Fun. This page explains what we build, what we stand for and how to reach us.
What is Sammi?
Sammi: AI Girlfriend is an Android app that lets you chat with a customizable AI girlfriend, talk to her in realistic voice calls, receive selfies and play out roleplay scenarios. She remembers the details you share, so conversations feel continuous instead of starting from zero. The app is free to download from Google Play with optional in-app purchases.

What we believe
- An AI companion is a companion, not a person. We say so clearly in the app and on this site. Sammi is not a therapist and not a replacement for real relationships.
- Privacy should be explained plainly. We describe what is stored on your device and what is processed by AI services in our Privacy Policy and let you ask for deletion at any time via the data deletion page.
- Honest comparisons. We make Sammi, and we say so whenever we compare it with other apps. Read how we do that in our editorial policy.
Who writes the guides on this site?
The guides, comparisons and feature pages on sammiai.app are written by the Sammi editorial team, the people who work on the app. We write about how AI companions work, how to use them in a healthy way and how to stay safe, and we update pages when the app or the wider market changes. Every page shows when it was last updated.
