These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sammi: AI Girlfriend app (the "App") and the website sammiai.app (the "Site"), provided byJoy Fun ("we", "us"). By using the App or the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
1. Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age required by Google Play and the laws of your country to use the App. The App is rated Teen on Google Play and contains diverse content for which discretion is advised. If you are under the age of majority, use the App only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
2. What Sammi is, and is not
- Sammi is an AI companion for entertainment and companionship. Characters are artificial intelligence, not real people.
- Responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, inconsistent or inappropriate. Do not rely on them as fact.
- Sammi does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial or any other professional advice and is not a substitute for it.
- If you are in crisis or in danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
3. Your account and device
You are responsible for your device and for activity on it. Conversation history is stored on your device; if you uninstall the App, clear its data or lose your device, that history may be lost.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, harassing or abusive purpose.
- Attempt to generate content that is illegal, that sexualizes minors, or that promotes violence or self-harm.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, interfere with or overload the App, the Site or our services.
- Bypass safety features or access controls, or use the App to build a competing service.
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-created in a deceptive way.
5. Content
You keep ownership of the messages you submit. You grant us a limited license to process them as needed to operate the App, including sending them to service providers to generate responses. Subject to applicable law and these Terms, you may use AI-generated responses and images for your personal, non-commercial purposes. The App, its design, characters, software and branding belong to us and our licensors.
6. Purchases and subscriptions
Some features may be offered through in-app purchases or subscriptions, billed through Google Play. Prices are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in Google Play (Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions). Refunds are handled under the Google Play refund policy.
7. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services such as Google Play and AI, speech, analytics and hosting providers. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and the App may occasionally be unavailable or slow. We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
10. Disclaimers
The App and the Site are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or that AI output will be accurate or suitable for your needs.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of the App or the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Joy Fun is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
