You are in control of your data. This page explains how to delete your Sammi: AI Girlfriend data, and how to ask us to delete anything we hold about you. It applies to the Android app published by Joy Fun (package namecom.joyfun.sammi.aifriend).
Option 1: Delete your data on your device
Your chat history is stored on your device, so you can remove it immediately yourself:
- Open Android Settings and go to Apps, then Sammi.
- Tap Storage (or Storage & cache), then Clear data.
- Optional: uninstall the app from Google Play or from your home screen.
Clearing the App's data removes your chat history and settings from your device. This cannot be undone, and purchases stay linked to your Google account, not to this data.
Option 2: Ask us to delete data we hold
Some information may be processed or kept by us or our service providers, for example photos you uploaded to generate pictures, purchase confirmations, and diagnostics. To have it deleted:
- Email waf.yang@gmail.com with the subject Data deletion request.
- Tell us your device model and roughly when you used the App, so we can find your records. Do not send passwords or payment card numbers.
- We will confirm that we received your request and complete it within 30 days.
What we delete, and what we may keep
- Deleted: content you sent to us for processing, uploaded photos, support emails about the request, and any identifiers we can link to you.
- May be kept for a limited time: purchase and tax records that the law requires us to keep, and security logs needed to prevent fraud or abuse.
