Editorial policy

Sammi makes an AI girlfriend app and also publishes guides and comparisons about AI companions. This page explains how we keep that fair.

Our conflict of interest

We make Sammi. Every comparison, such as the best AI girlfriend apps comparison and our "alternative" pages, is written by the team behind one of the apps being compared. We say this on those pages, and we do not hide it.

How we write comparisons

  1. Public sources only. We describe other apps using their official websites, store listings and public help pages.
  2. Say who each app is best for. We include situations where another app is the better choice, for example when you use iOS, or want a very large character library.
  3. No invented claims. If we cannot verify a feature or price, we say it varies or leave it out.
  4. Dated pages. Comparison pages show a "last updated" date, because features and pricing change quickly.
  5. Trademarks. Other apps' names belong to their owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

How we write guides

  • We lead with a plain answer and then explain, so you can stop reading as soon as you have what you need.
  • We explain limits honestly: an AI companion is not a person, not a therapist and not a substitute for professional help.
  • We do not give medical, legal or financial advice. Where a topic touches wellbeing, we point to qualified professionals.
  • We link to the app's own Privacy Policy and Terms rather than paraphrasing them.

Updates and corrections

We review core pages whenever the app changes and at least when the market shifts noticeably. Substantive changes update the date shown on the page. If you spot an error or an unfair description of any app, email waf.yang@gmail.com and we will check and fix it.

Ratings and numbers

Any rating or review count we show for Sammi is copied from the public Google Play listing and updated when we revise the site.

Advertising and affiliate links

sammiai.app does not run third-party advertising. Links to other apps are plain references and are marked nofollow. We do not receive payment from other apps for being listed or ranked.
